Badal,who was at the holiest Sikh shrine for a religious event, was reportedly caught in a potentially dangerous situation when the security personnel swiftly intervened. The two ASIs, whose quick thinking and courage helped avert a major security breach, have been hailed as heroes for their actions.

In his note, Badal referred to the two officers as “part of my family,” emphasizing their selflessness and devotion to duty. "These two brave officers went beyond the call of duty, saving my life in a critical moment. The Incident at the Golden Temple
The incident took place earlier this week during a routine visit to the Golden Temple, where Badal was attending a religious ceremony. Reports indicate that the situation escalated when an individual, whose intentions are still under investigation, posed a threat to Badal. The two ASIs were quick to assess the danger and intervened immediately, ensuring the safety of the former Deputy Chief Minister of Punjab.
